🎯 Document collection tracker

Visual overview of document collection progress - Now available in the Documents tab of each case, giving you instant visibility into which documents are collected and validated. The new workflow task automatically blocks cases with missing required documents, ensuring compliance by design.

📊 Portal request tracker

Track all customer requests in one place - Monitor the progress of onboarding requests, document collections, and identity verifications sent to customers. Easily identify stalling cases to take proactive action and improve completion rates.

🤖 AI-Assisted rule builder

Build compliance rules using natural language - Express your risk rules, automation rules, and activation conditions in plain English and let AI translate them into working code. No technical expertise required - just describe what you need in human terms.

⚡ Workflow builder improvements

Enhanced task organization and icons - New categorized task selector with intuitive icons makes building workflows faster and clearer. Tasks are now organized by type (enrichment, screening, verification, etc.) with visual indicators.

These updates focus on improving user experience, reducing manual work, and giving you better visibility into your compliance processes.

• Scan expired KYBs: using the scan "Expired KYB", receive alerts when a case's KYC is due for renewal. Configure and customize the KYC refresh period according to your policy, particularly based on risk level (e.g. annually for high-risk customers, every 3–5 years for lower-risk ones).

• Complex shareholding structure and graph view: in Ondorse's case manager, you can now model complex shareholding structures with multiple levels of ownership and control. Additionally, you can visualise these structures in a graph view.

• Portal builder improvements: we've enhanced the Portal builder with several improvements: clearer visual representation of business user flows, added support for custom fields in the builder, and more.
• IDV collect: you can now prompt customers to complete (or re-complete) their Identity Verification via a dedicated Portal — either as part of progressive onboarding or to address risk-flagged IDVs (e.g., low-quality documents, name inconsistencies, fraud detection) after an initial onboarding.
• New document validation task: you now have a dedicated task for document collection and validation, directly linked to expected documents. This allows you to manage and validate documents seamlessly from your workflow.
• Custom favicon in Portal: as part of Portal branding customisation options, you can now select a custom favicon to better align Portal with your brand.
• Delete case for qualified reviewer: deletion of cases is now available but restricted to the role qualified reviewer.
• Finer-grained events for automations: Ondorse's automations can now be configured to react to cases' specific events (status update, etc.).
• Support for proof of addresses on IDNow integration: the IDNow integration now supports verifying proof of address documents.
• Improvements on Finovox integration: added a direct link from Ondorse's case to Finovox's case.
• Personal API keys: you can now create and manage personal API keys directly from Ondorse's UI. Read more in Authentication.
• Save and continue on Portal: the Portal UI now more clearly indicates to end-users that the information entered in each step is saved after the step is submitted.
• Ondorse status page: you can check the real-time availability and operational status of our services anytime by visiting our dedicated status page: https://status.ondorse.co.

• Portal help guides: To enhance onboarding conversion and provide your clients with the best possible guidance, portals now include a help guide that explains how your customers can find the required documents. The guiding instructions are customizable.

• Enterprise SSO/SAML login and 2FA: For increased security, use enterprise SSO/SAML login methods (including login with Google, Microsoft, and Okta) to access Ondorse. You can also enable 2FA on your account.

• On-premise document storage: For IT compliance or sovereignty reasons, you might be required to store documents on your own IT systems. That’s now possible with Ondorse. We support on-premise Amazon S3 storage—reach out to us to learn about other available options.

• Custom fields on relationships: You can now customize your compliance data more precisely by attaching custom fields to relationships in a case, such as a related business or person. You can also attach them only to specific roles, such as director, shareholder, or UBO.

• Document download from Companies House: From your verification workflow, configure the Download task to retrieve documents from Companies House, such as registration certificates, articles of association, and more.

• Auto-scan: Scans now run automatically on any new case or change. This makes scans even more relevant for monitoring risks and compliance gaps across your entire case database.

• Ondorse Trust Center: trust.ondorse.co is a self-service portal where you can access Ondorse IT security and compliance information, review certifications, and request necessary documents.

• Open a case in a new tab with Ctrl/Cmd+click: From the case manager, click on a case while pressing Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) to open it in a new tab. A tiny detail for some, a must-have for others. 😃

• Improvements to CSV import: We've made several enhancements to our CSV import process to make switching to Ondorse easier. These include:

  • Self-serve import
  • Support for persons, documents, and custom fields
  • Instant format validation
  • And more!

• Risk Mappings: Use an intuitive interface to assign risk levels to countries, activities, legal types, and more. This feature provides enhanced clarity and control over your risk rules within the platform.

  

• Document pre-validation with AI: Perform instant and automatic pre-validation of uploaded documents in Portal using AI. Define and adapt what you want the AI to verify in documents by writing pre-validation prompt. This reduces unnecessary and costly back-and-forths with customers due to incorrect documents.

• ID document verification using Veriff: you can now use Veriff to verify uploaded ID documents.
• Various UX/UI improvement in Portal: we've made several small improvements to the UX and UI in Portal.

• Agreements to T&C and consents collected in the Portal: In the Portal, add a checkbox to record consent or agreement to legal documents, such as terms and conditions or a privacy policy. Agreements are logged in the case and can be used as legal evidence.

  

• Portal is now more mobile-friendly: We have improved our support for mobile phones. Completing a KYB process on mobile is now a reality!

  

• Re-open Portal: On an existing case, you can now re-open a Portal. This feature accommodates various situations:

  • EDD: After analyzing the case, you may require additional information. Re-open the Portal and share the URL with the customer.

  • KYB refresh: Request your customer to confirm that the data in the case is still valid.

    

• Portal form builder: The Portal is fully customizable. We have exposed many more configuration options in the app's settings.

  

• Remediation via manual actions: Launch a batch of manual actions for your team to handle. Provide detailed task descriptions before dispatching work through assignments and track progress.

  

  Rich-text editor for manual tasks' instructions: A rich-text editor is available for defining manual task instructions. It allows you to format text with headers, lists, links, images, and more for improved clarity and presentation. This enhancement streamlines task management for operations, back-office, and compliance teams, as well as adjacent workflows. It simplifies training, reduces costs, and makes the BPO model more efficient and sustainable.

  

• Veriff integration: after Checkout.com (ex-Ubble) and Jumio , Ondorse now supports another IDV provider with the integration of Veriff .

  

• Verification of individuals (KYC): Ondorse now natively supports the verification of natural persons. All Ondorse features are available to verify individuals: verification workflow with all available tasks (screening, IDV, etc...), Portal, risk scoring etc.

  

• Portal multi-theme support: you can now create multiple themes for Portal. When creating a Portal, you can select the theme that will be used. This feature allows you to support KYB onboarding on behalf of your partners by adapting your Portal to their branding. _Read more in Portal configuration options.

• Improvements of our connection to Kompany: we've made various improvements to our connection to Kompany: fetch ownership percentage and better parsing of related persons' roles.

  

• Background task execution and Portal reactivity: you can now run workflow tasks in the background while users are filling out the Portal. In such instance, the Portal will react to the result of such compliance checks. Examples of use-cases:

  • risk-based progressive onboarding: launch screening tasks as soon as the user fills in relationships form in Portal. Depending on the screening result (low risk), expected documents are automatically adjusted.
  • official document retrievals: download and present official documents to the user as soon as they fill in company name.

• Raw source data: in a case, access the raw data as fetched from the official registers and data provider.

• Auto-run workflow: you can now automatically run workflows as soon as a case is submitted.

• Portal email verification: as part of improving Portal security options, you can now require the user to verify their email address before filling-up the Portal. _Read more in Portal configuration options.

  

• Reduce false-positive rate on legal authorization check task: we improved the legal authorization task to reduce the rate of false positives. This was achieved by updating our person matching algorithm.

• LexisNexis screening integration: LexisNexis is now a screening provider available in Ondorse.

  

• Trulioo integration: Ondorse now supports Trulioo.

• Screening remediation: launch remediations to screen your whole database or a segment of it.

  

• Verifications tab: this new tab brings together the various external verifications performed on the case and presents their results (such as screening and ID verification). This enhancement is designed to make the customer file easily readable and accessible.

  

• Remediation - official document purchases: launch remediations that buy documents (from Pappers, Kompany) in bulk for your whole database or a segment of it.

  

• Expose source_data in rule engine : the data fetched from official registers or 3rd party data providers can now used by the rule engine.

• Automatic case approval: with automations, you can now setup automations that automatically approve cases based on criteria, such as the risk score. For example, low-risk cases are automatically approved.

  

• AI website analysis: using the verification task AI website analysis you can analyse the content of the customer's website and extract data points such as: a description of the website, a category of business, etc.. You can use this task to efficiently verify the coherence of the case.

• IBAN verification: using the task IBAN verification, part of your verification workflow, you can automatically verify ownership of a bank account by querying the SEPAMail Diamond service.

• Jumio integration: as part of our IDV providers for Portal, we are now adding Jumio. It's ready, just plug your Jumio account and you are ready to verify identity using Jumio.

• Scan reporting improvements: we've improved the display of the scans page so that you can keep a bird's-eye view on your compliance requirements and risks.

• Portal availability by country: Portal configuration options are growing. Recently, we've added an option to limit the onboarding to specific countries.

• New scans: missing data-point and missing documents: we've added 2 new types of scans that can reveal in your KYC database missing documents (IDs,..) and missing data-points (UBOs, company address..). You can use these scans to evaluate your KYC database towards your compliance requirements.

  

• Documents analysis using OCR and AI: The document analysis is a task that, when added to the workflow, extracts structured data from documents of the case and compare the results to reference data. You can use this feature to streamline the verification process of declared information against a proof document. _See Document analysis via OCR and AI

  

• Portal secured access: you can now secure and restrict access to a Portal to a person with a specific email address. When the signatory starts the onboarding process, they'll have to confirm that they own the authorised email address before accessing the Portal. Read more in Portal.

• Text formatting in Portal wordings: the branding and wordings in Portal are fully customizable. Now, you can use rich text formatting in Portal: italic, bold, images, links...
• Specific Portal flow for UK sole traders: when the onboardee is a sole-trader in the UK, they are presented with a special flow that takes into account the specificities of this legal form: Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR), etc...
• Improvement on the rule editor: we've made various improvements on the rule editor of our rules engine. These improvements aim at improving the testability of the rules and makes the editor simpler to use.
• Segment by custom field: you can now create segments using custom fields as criteria.

These are the new features and improvements that we recently shipped:

• Recommended Portal integration guide: an overview of how to best integrate Portal in your product flow. Read more in Portal.

• Portal redirect URL: to complete an integration of Portal in your user flow, you can now specify a redirect URL to where the user will be redirected at the end of Portal.

• New webhooks: application.submitted, application.review_updated, application.status_updated. Read more in API reference.

• Default custom fields: create Portal with default values for custom fields.

• Conditional question (via custom fields) in Portal: show custom field input in Portal depending on conditions. Read more here .

• Risk and breach factors highlighted on cases: risk and breach factors discovered by Scans are highlighted in cases.

  

We are introducing Segments, which allow you to group cases with shared characteristics. Use Segments for aggregated views or as targets for remediations, based on criteria like legal type, country, risk scoring, and scan results. This feature helps you manage and analyze customer data more efficiently.
